Manufacturing Technician
Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Technician to support cGMP production operations within a regulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for executing manufacturing processes, operating production equipment, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the highest quality standards are met.=
### Key Responsibilities
Perform cGMP manufacturing activities in accordance with approved batch records, SOPs, and established procedures. Operate and monitor automated manufacturing equipment while accurately recording production and in-process data. Complete manufacturing and testing documentation in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Assist with troubleshooting efforts, manufacturing investigations, and root cause analysis activities. Support process improvement and manufacturing-related research and development initiatives as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production goals, quality standards, and compliance requirements are achieved. Provide support for additional quality control and operational activities as assigned.
### Qualifications
Associate degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of cGMP regulations, SOP compliance, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Experience reviewing and executing batch records and production documentation. Strong problem-solving skills, including participation in investigations and root cause analysis activities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
### Preferred Experience
Experience operating automated manufacturing equipment. Exposure to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cell therapy, gene therapy, or medical device manufacturing environments. Familiarity with deviation investigations, CAPA processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woburn, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
