Job Description
Visa’s Internship Program provides an immersive, 12-month journey where you’ll work on impactful projects that drive Visa’s mission forward. As a Visa intern, you’ll build valuable connections across the organization, sharpen your communication and business acumen, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, global environment.
Throughout the program, you’ll have exclusive access to interactive workshops and learning sessions designed to deepen your expertise, expand your industry knowledge, and elevate your professional skillset. About the Role
As a Risk Intern, you will support the CARCAM Risk team in protecting the integrity of the Visa payment ecosystem and helping clients manage fraud and security risks. This internship offers hands-on exposure to payment risk programs, fraud analytics, client engagement strategies, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled process improvements. You’ll also receive mentorship from experienced leaders and gain opportunities to contribute to high-impact business initiatives.
Some job duties and projects could include, but are not limited to:
• Prepare fraud performance reports, portfolio reviews, and risk dashboards
• Monitor fraud trends and identify anomalies in risk data, including TC40 reporting
• Support risk, security, and ecosystem monitoring programs, including client notifications and documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, workflows, or client engagement using AI, automation, and digital tools (training resources provided)
• Create client-facing materials such as bulletins, fraud alerts, webinars, and educational content
• Assist with preparing presentations, meeting follow-ups, and other administrative support activities

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with expected graduation between November 2027 and March 2028
• Foundational analytical skills gained through coursework or projects
• Availability to participate in a full-time, 12-month internship
Preferred Qualifications:
• Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
• Interest in payments, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, risk management, or data analytics
• Familiarity with AI tools, automation, or data visualization platforms (training will be provided)
• Ability to organize tasks and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
