About this role

Job Purpose:
- The PT Valet Attendant at SELIG PARKING is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles for guests. The role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and security of vehicles while enhancing the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner upon arrival and departure.
- Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Maintain a neat and organized valet area, ensuring all vehicles are parked in designated spots.
- Provide information and assistance to guests regarding parking options and directions.
- Monitor and report any vehicle damage or incidents to management immediately.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and customer service standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle transactions and valet tickets.
- Assist with traffic control and ensure the safe flow of vehicles in the parking area.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality or parking environment.
- Experience with handling cash and processing payments efficiently.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as parking and retrieving vehicles.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for processing transactions and managing records.
