The Manufacturing Manager role is responsible for leading day-to-day assembly operations in the Huntsville, AL facility.
* The candidate selected for this position will manage manufacturing supervisors and an represented workforce of assembly & test technicians (anticipated span of control is between 30-50 employees), in support of products for the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) system and THAAD Weapon System.
* The candidate will be responsible for operating assigned workcenters to deliver product free of defect, in support of program cost and schedule demands.
* The role will require being an effective change manager: many of the assemblies are transitioning from design/development into production for the first time.
* This position will also require you to analyze large amounts of data to help effectively manage your workforce.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
* 8+ years of related experience
* Prior leadership experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge / practical experience with Lean Manufacturing / Flow.
* US Citizen with ability to obtain an Interim Secret DoD clearance prior to starting this position.

Full-Time Salary Range: $109700.00 - $203700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
