DIRECT HIRE:  An awesome opportunity for an experienced Lead Manufacturing QAQC Technician to join a dynamic team.

 Working Location: Phoenix, AZ.
 Pay: $89K - 123K (depending on experience)
Schedule/Work Environment: M – F, 7am – 4pm (OT  only when necessary to meet deadlines)
On-site/in-office position; not remote, l imited travel required as needed to support other sites or inspect delivered materials, relocation assistance available for the right candidate

Responsibilities: 
- Lead daily QA/QC inspection activities throughout manufacturing and fabrication areas, ensuring materials, components, assemblies, and finished products meet approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements
- Apply 5–7 years of quality control and quality assurance experience within manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or related industrial environments, providing hands-on inspection and quality oversight
- Perform and coordinate receiving, in-process, and final inspections while verifying dimensions, workmanship, materials, assemblies, installation details, and documentation for compliance
- Investigate complex quality issues, identify root causes, document non-conformances, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with manufacturing, engineering, and management teams
- Lead, guide, and train QA/QC inspectors on inspection procedures, documentation requirements, quality standards, manufacturing processes, and proper inspection techniques
- Maintain independence from production operations to provide objective quality oversight and ensure inspection decisions remain focused on specifications, standards, and customer requirements
- Support internal, customer, and third-party audits by preparing inspection records, quality documentation, traceability information, corrective actions, and supporting evidence
- Review quality records, inspection reports, nonconformance reports, corrective actions, and production documentation for accuracy, completeness, and traceability
- Work closely with manufacturing and engineering personnel to resolve quality concerns, clarify requirements, improve processes, and prevent recurring defects
- Monitor inspection results and quality trends to identify recurring issues, recommend process improvements, and strengthen manufacturing quality and consistency
- Maintain organized QA/QC documentation and communicate inspection results, deficiencies, corrective actions, and outstanding quality issues to management and production leadership
- Promote a strong quality culture through hands-on leadership, inspector development, consistent inspection practices, attention to detail, and adherence to established QA/QC procedures
