The Market Area Europe, Middle East and Africa offers a diverse and dynamic environment at the forefront of 5G innovation, with Ericsson’s Networks organization leading in thought leadership and value argumentation across more than 100 countries.

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Architect specializing in Mission Critical Networks (MCN) and Push-to-Talk (PTT) solutions. Reporting to the Head of Network Solutions, you will shape secure, scalable, and commercially compelling solutions with sales, product management, delivery teams, and customers.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will lead solution design, customer engagements, demonstrations, workshops, and proposals. A key focus will be Mission Critical Services, with strong expertise in MCPTT architecture, standards, service workflows, priorities, group communication, dispatching, control-room operations, field-user integration, and eMBMS for efficient group and broadcast communication.

You will support business growth while ensuring cross-domain alignment, delivery leadership, and effective risk management across a highly collaborative environment. Strong technical depth in MCPTT services, transport networking, and solution integration is essential

What you will do:

- Lead end-to-end solution architecture across application, transport, access, cloud, infrastructure, and core network domains.
- Design and optimize solutions for scalability, resilience, service continuity, performance, and secure connectivity.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor in customer engagements, workshops, demonstrations, proposals, and executive discussions.
- Drive cross-functional and multi-vendor integration, ensuring interface alignment, interoperability, and end-to-end service assurance.
- Coordinate technical plans, dependencies, sequencing, risks, and mitigation actions across multiple domains.
- Translate customer requirements and constraints into tailored, commercially compelling solutions while supporting business growth.

The skills you bring:

- Strong expertise in MCPTT architecture, standards, service workflows, priorities, group communication, dispatching, control-room operations, field-user integration, and mission-critical requirements.
- Knowledge of eMBMS for group and broadcast communication and network-efficiency optimization.
- Strong IP networking skills, including routing and switching, traffic engineering, QoS, redundancy, latency, isolation, backhaul, fronthaul, and secure transport architectures.
- Understanding of device ecosystems, provisioning, lifecycle management, MDM solutions, security enforcement, and application control.
- Knowledge of cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, containerization, orchestration, data centers, cabling, power, and connectivity.
- Understanding of BSS integrations such as Active Directory, billing, mediation, and provisioning, together with core-network domains including Packet Core, DNS, APN, and PCRF/QoS enforcement.
- Awareness of RAN dependencies and their impact on service performance and coverage, including satellite communication integration with terrestrial networks.
- Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, solution-justification, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
- Experience designing and assessing complex, resilient, end-to-end mission-critical network solutions.
- Experience with testing and validation tools such as VIAVI and MiW, including KPI validation, performance verification, troubleshooting, and service-assurance methodologies.
- Proven experience managing multi-vendor ecosystems involving application providers, device vendors, infrastructure suppliers, and testing-tool providers.
- Experience managing interdependencies between MCPTT, dispatching systems, MDM platforms, core and RAN domains, and testing and assurance tools.
- Experience leading technical planning, risk management, customized solution development, and delivery alignment across customer, vendor, and internal teams.
- Experience presenting complex technical solutions in a structured, clear, and business-oriented manner to stakeholders ranging from technical teams to executive management.
