About this role

Description

What These Project Managers Will Do
The selected PMs will function as the onsite business and operational leads throughout deployment and post-installation adoption.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Driving deployment execution across assigned sites
Acting as the primary liaison between site operations, vendors, and Amazon stakeholders
Managing rollout schedules, milestones, and implementation activities
Supporting site leadership through change management and operational adoption
Training and coaching Operations teams on equipment utilization and best practices
Monitoring and driving KPI performance throughout startup and stabilization
Escalating and mitigating risks that could impact deployment success
Ensuring consistency of execution across multiple sites
Maintaining visibility into vendor and operational performance metrics
Providing regular updates to leadership teams on project status, risks, and performance
Given the visibility of this initiative, KPI performance will be monitored at the VP level, making strong communication, operational leadership, and stakeholder management critical success factors.

Desired Candidate Background
Based on similar GES deployments and the scope of this initiative, we recommend targeting Project Manager III-level talent with:
5+ years of project management experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
Experience leading multi-site deployments, implementations, or operational rollouts
Strong KPI management and performance tracking experience
Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and vendor partners
Proven ability to influence site leadership and drive adoption of new processes or technologies
Strong communication and executive-level reporting skills
Ability to travel extensively between assigned locations
Previous Amazon experience would be viewed favorably but is not required.
Installation experience with robotic equipment is also not required. The primary value these PMs bring is deployment leadership, stakeholder management, operational readiness, and KPI ownership.

This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $62.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
