Senior Consultant, Professional Services (ONESOURCE Direct Tax)

As a Senior Consultant on Thomson Reuters’ Professional Services team, you’ll work on ONESOURCE Direct Tax implementations, grow your expertise quickly, and use modern tools, including AI, to build solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- This is an individual contributor role that offers a dynamic, hands-on path for someone 5+ years into their professional career.

- You’ll join customer-facing ONESOURCE Direct Tax projects as an active contributor, working alongside senior team members who will coach you.

- We want someone who builds. You’ll work directly AI tools, Power Automate, etc. and you’ll be encouraged to experiment.

As Senior Consultant, you will:

- Contribute to the configuration, implementation, and delivery of ONESOURCE Direct Tax solutions

- Support customer engagements by gathering requirements, documenting designs, and delivering assigned work on time

- Build quick proofs-of-concept and automations that show customers what’s possible

- Use AI and automation tools to create reusable tools and processes that improve efficiency

- Support Best Practice Reviews and help identify improvement opportunities

- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Technology partners

- Manage multiple workstreams and priorities concurrently

- Build strong customer relationships and be a dependable point of contact

- Keep learning and share what you learn with the team

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years in professional services, corporate tax, public accounting, or tax technology, with working familiarity with ONESOURCE Direct Tax

- Solid working knowledge of ASC 740 tax provision processes

- Hands-on experience with one or more of:

- ONESOURCE Tax Provision or ONESOURCE Income Tax

- ONESOURCE Workpapers, Data Import, or DataFlow

- ONESOURCE APIs

- Power Automate, Alteryx, KNIME (or similar) for automation

- Power BI or similar dashboards

- Advanced Excel (Power Query, dynamic arrays, Data Validation, etc.)

- Curiosity and demonstrated initiative using AI tools (e.g., Claude) in your work

- Bachelor’s degree in taxation, accounting, or equivalent

- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- ONESOURCE Data Hub, General Ledger Manager, or Data Query

- ONESOURCE Workflow and Calendar

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.

For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $74,200 USD - $137,800 USD.

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
