Job Description

The Business Operations Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the Corporates Professional Services business by ensuring that processes, reporting, tools, and employee experiences are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. This role will focus on executing operations processes and reporting while contributing to process improvement efforts across the business unit to enhance financial, operational, customer satisfaction, and employee satisfaction outcomes.

Our Project & Operations Management team consists of seasoned professionals who have excelled in professional services through client-facing delivery, business transformation, and innovation. As business operations increasingly take on complex and global dimensions, the Business Operations Consultant will lead efforts to enhance services-related processes and technology.

Key Responsibilities

- Support critical operational areas for professional services, including order processing, credits, time entry and billing, access requirements, quality assurance, reporting, and governance, with a focus on strategic improvement.
- Develop, review, and maintain high-level operational documentation and communications.
- Oversee and manage POM information channels, ensuring efficient triage, routing, and response management through various platforms such as email, MS Teams, and roundtable discussions.
- Drive revenue management initiatives, particularly in month-end research and resolution, to optimize financial performance.
- Foster a culture of creativity and innovation, encouraging team feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Ensure active participation and leadership in Operations discussions, tools, and resources.
- Execute special projects and additional duties, providing strategic input and leadership.

Required Qualifications

- Advanced English proficiency. Candidates will be tested before setting up an interview.
- At least 5 years' experience in similar roles.
- Extensive understanding of operational and revenue businesses, with in-depth knowledge of back-office processes, operations, and technologies.
- Expertise in multiple technology platforms, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Intermediate level experience with SAP
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with O365 and Power Platforms.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated success in leading process improvement initiatives with measurable results.
- Project management skills, with a strategic approach to developing and prioritizing goals and plans.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in professional services, including time entry, billing, and month-end revenue reconciliation.
- Advanced SAP experience, including order-to-cash processes.
- Experience with Power Automate, Power BI, or Power Apps to automate workflows and build dashboards.
- Process improvement or project management certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMP).
- Knowledge of internal controls and governance (e.g., SOX) as they apply to revenue processes.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed environment.
