Schedule: 60% FTE, day shift working from 6:30am-7pm with every third weekend rotation (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holiday rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work onsite at Beaver Dam Hospital.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

- Lead frontline nursing operations at UW Health Beaver Dam, a 48-bed acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center, supporting safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care across the medical-surgical unit, Emergency/Urgent Care, and surgical services.
- Provide visible clinical leadership and support by rounding hourly with patients, families, and staff, assessing needs, ensuring appropriate resources, and serving as a trusted clinical resource and mentor for the nursing team.
- Coordinate daily operations and patient flow, including staffing, admissions, transfers, discharges, assignments, delegation, and collaboration with interprofessional teams to ensure timely, efficient, and safe care.
- Build and develop a strong nursing team through coaching, mentoring, constructive feedback, conflict resolution, professional development, and promotion of evidence-based practice, shared governance, and a healthy work environment.
- Drive quality, safety, and patient experience, using clinical data and quality metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, reinforce regulatory and practice standards, lead safety huddles, and support process improvement initiatives.
- Help shape the future of UW Health Beaver Dam by partnering with local and system leaders to implement organizational priorities, strengthen care delivery, and expand access to high-quality care in the Beaver Dam community.
- Five or more years of in-depth acute care knowledge and inpatient nursing experience and prior leadership experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
- 2 years experience in an inpatient unit Required
- 2 years of combined work experience and leadership experience may be considered in lieu of two (2) years’ experience in an inpatient unit Required
- 3 years experience in an acute care inpatient unit Preferred
- Relevant RN experience with department-specific patient population Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Required
- Current CPR/BLS certification Required
- National certification in relevant specialty Preferred
