About this role
The Facilities Technician performs fabrication, installation, maintenance, and major repairs between our Auburn Hills, Michigan laboratories. They maintain the operation of all building equipment, accessories, and components.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Facilities and/or maintenance trade in a commercial setting.
- Ability to safely work autonomously.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to wear proper PPE when required.
- Ability to work full-time, on-site Monday through Friday, Some possible on-call duties to be expected.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly gain working knowledge of new software.

- Ability to travel, on occasion, to other facilities within the UL family of companies when the need arises.

What we offer:
- Total Rewards : We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
