About this role

A Building Inspector is responsible to review and inspect commercial buildings for adherence to safety codes and regulations. Ensures buildings conform to local, state and federal codes and regulations.

- University Degree (Equivalent to Associates degree) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Safety Engineering preferred
- Related discipline plus generally five years’ experience as an inspector, building contractor, engineer or other building related trades.
- ICC Combo commercial Inspector certification
- Knowledge to interpret building codes and ability to identify non-compliant installations as essential.
- Good verbal communication skills with customers.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Must have excellent computer skills.

Home Based Position - Candidate preferred to be located close to airport due to travel requirements in the Nashville, TN area

What we offer:

- Total Rewards : We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including personal days (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
