TEAM OVERVIEW:

The Freight Audit Program Manager is an entry-level opportunity for a recent college graduate seeking to begin a career in global logistics, freight audit, logistics compliance, transportation, warehousing, and process improvement. This role provides exposure to logistics audit and payment processes, supplier performance, operational reporting, data analysis, and cross-functional project support within a global business environment.

Reporting to the Global Logistics Audit Program Manager, Global Logistics Sourcing, this position will support logistics audit and payment activities, reporting, process documentation, and analytical initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced logistics professionals while developing practical knowledge of logistics operations, business processes, systems, and performance management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Freight Audit & Invoice Validation
- Review and audit freight invoices (parcel LTL FTL ocean air) against contracted rates tariffs and agreed terms.
- Validate accessorial charges such as fuel surcharge residential delivery and detention.
- Identify and flag billing discrepancies duplicate invoices and unauthorized charges.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards.
- Confirm carrier milestones

Carrier Billing Management

- Act as primary point of contact for carriers regarding billing inquiries and disputes.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies through structured dispute processes and root cause analysis.
- Monitor carrier billing accuracy trends and escalate recurring issues.
- Collaborate with carriers to improve billing quality and adherence to contracted terms.

Reporting & analytics

- Generate and maintain recurring reports on freight spend billing accuracy and exception trends.
- Analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvement areas.
- Support month-end close activities with accurate accruals and reconciliation.
- Partner with finance and procurement teams to provide insights into carrier performance and spend.

Systems & Process Integration

- Work within Transportation Management Systems (TMS) ERP (e.g. SAP) and freight audit tools.
- Ensure accurate data integration between systems and reporting platforms.
- Support system enhancements testing and process standardization initiatives.
- Maintain audit trails and documentation for compliance and audits.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Logistics Procurement and Finance teams to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Support carrier onboarding and rate validation processes.
- Contribute to SOP development process governance and continuous improvement initiatives

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data, identify trends, and support recommendations
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external business partners
- Ability to learn new systems, tools, and business processes quickly
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and related productivity tool

REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, Analytics, Operations Management, or a related discipline

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
