About this role
Responsibilities
- Planning, execution and documentation of application engineering projects and milling trials
- Close collaboration with the sales team to technically clarify and successfully execute customer projects
- Providing technical consulting to customers with the goal of supporting project and order closure together with sales
- Supporting the development of customer-specific solutions and quotations
- Contributing to the establishment and development of application and technology standards in the market
- Delivering training and providing technical support while coordinating closely with internal stakeholders
Profile | Qualifications
- Completed technical training (e.g. industrial mechanic) with further qualification as a technician or a comparable background
- Several years of experience in 5-axis milling and solid knowledge of CNC controls (ideally Heidenhain)
- Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM systems, preferably HyperMill (Open Mind)
- Strong technical understanding and ability to develop customer-specific solutions
- Structured and independent working style combined with a strong customer focus and affinity for working closely with sales teams
- Good English communication skills and willingness to travel
