Help us build quality into everything we do

If you know VET compliance and enjoy turning standards, funding requirements and policies into practical processes people can follow, this could be a great next step.

Builders Academy Australia (BAA) and City-Wide Building & Training Services (CWBTS) are looking for an experienced Compliance Coordinator to join our Quality Education and Compliance team.

Working across two RTOs, you'll play a hands-on role supporting compliance, quality assurance, audits and continuous improvement while helping teams understand what good compliance looks like in practice.

Why join BAA & CWBTS?

BAA and CWBTS specialise in nationally accredited training for Australia's building and construction industry, grounded in the principle of "builders training builders."

This is an opportunity to:

- Work across two established RTOs – BAA and CWBTS
- Build broad exposure across VET compliance, funding and quality
- Be involved in internal and external audits
- Work with teams across training, operations and the wider business
- Use your expertise to drive practical improvements, not just paperwork

Job Description

Full-Time | Melbourne – Bourke Street Campus | 3 days on campus, 2 days' Work from Home

- Monitor regulatory and funding changes and support required updates
- Prepare for internal and external audits and track resulting actions

- Support validation, moderation and regulatory reporting activities
- Provide compliance guidance across teams, including complex student matters

Qualifications

What we're looking for

You'll already have experience within the VET/RTO environment and understand how regulatory requirements translate into day-to-day education operations.

You'll bring:

- Experience in compliance or quality within an RTO or education provider
- Strong working knowledge of the VET Quality Framework and 2025 Standards for RTOs
- Knowledge of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)
- Understanding of VIC, NSW and QLD state funding requirements
- Knowledge of CRICOS requirements
