About this role
- JOB SUMMARY Hospice Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs); or Hospice Aides; provide personal care; and assist with activities of daily living for patients in end of life care. CNAs function under the direction; instruction; and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

- Required Licenses/Certifications Current Nurse Aide Certification
- Current HeartSaver CPR Certification
- Current Drivers License
- Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position
- Accountable for the regulatory requirements; functions; and duties of the Hospice Aide
- Deals effectively with community/consumers
- Demonstrated advocate of quality and cost effective care
- Understand the physical; psychosocial; and spiritual concerns/problems of terminally ill patients and families
- Must be knowledgeable of quality and performance improvement activities
- Proven written and editing skills
- Strong computer skills
- Requires ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills
- Designated Driver No
- A current Driver License must be on file if the CNA floats to Homecare Hospice
- OSHA Category 1 - High Risk
