About this role

We’re looking for an Expert Gameplay Programmer to join one of our unannounced projects currently in development at 11 bit studios .

This position requires working in a hybrid model in our Warsaw office.

What will you be doing on a day-to-day basis?

- Planning, prototyping, developing and maintaining gameplay features,
- Participating in the gameplay feature design process and working closely with designers,
- Evaluating new technologies and identifying opportunities to apply them to gameplay code,
- Debugging and optimizing gameplay code,
- Analyzing technical risks and requirements for gameplay solutions,
- Enforcing good programming practices within the programming team,
- Sharing knowledge and experience within the programming team.

Requirements

What will help you succeed in this role?

- At least 5 years of professional experience in a programming position in the game development industry,
- At least 2 years of professional experience with Unreal Engine ,
- Preferably, professional experience working on multiplayer and/or co-op games ,
- Expert practical knowledge of C++ ,
- Strong understanding of gameplay systems and solutions used in modern video games,
- Experience taking gameplay features from prototype through implementation and iteration,
- Good communication skills and ability to work closely with other disciplines,
- Keeping up to date with current technology trends.
