Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. You will play a key role in developing and improving the Bank’s systems, contributing to technical decisions and helping us build reliable, secure and scalable solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, test and maintain the Bank’s software solutions;
- Build reliable, secure and scalable applications and integrations;
- Contribute to system design and technical architecture decisions;
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code;
- Review code and help maintain high engineering standards;
- Investigate technical issues and implement long-term solutions;
- Improve development, testing, deployment and monitoring practices;
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, other engineers and external partners;
- Participate in planning, estimation and delivery of development initiatives;
- Share technical knowledge and support the professional growth of other team members.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- At least 5 years of professional software development experience;
- Strong proficiency in[insert primary programming language and framework];
- Experience with relational databases and SQL;
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and external systems;
- Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns and clean code principles;
- Experience with automated testing, version control and CI/CD practices;
- Ability to analyse complex requirements and propose practical technical solutions;
- Strong problem-solving skills and ownership of delivered solutions;
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams;
- ·Good command of English.

Nice to Have

- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably[Azure / other];
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools;
- Knowledge of application security and secure software development practices;
- Experience with event-driven architecture or messaging technologies;
- Previous experience in banking, fintech or another regulated industry;
- Experience working with legacy system modernisation or complex system integrations.
