Assistant Vice President, GPD Governance & Continuous Improvement
Role Summary
The Assistant Vice President, GPD Governance & Continuous Improvement is responsible for ensuring adherence to Global Process Design (GPD) standards across Finance transformation initiatives. The role provides governance oversight, business solution understanding, and continuous improvement expertise to drive standardization, operational excellence, risk mitigation, and successful delivery of strategic Finance and Oracle Cloud programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Govern compliance with Global Process Design (GPD) standards and Finance target-state processes.
- Review, challenge, and track approved business solution designs to ensure alignment with strategic architecture and operating model objectives.
- Lead governance and oversight controls across demand intake, project delivery, enhancements, and change initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement, process simplification, automation opportunities, and reduction of legacy system dependencies.
- Provide leadership on data governance, and track business process standardization, and solution quality across Finance platforms.
- Partner with Finance, Technology, Operations, and business stakeholders to identify risks, resolve issues, and support strategic decision-making.
- Develop governance reporting, metrics, and management information for senior leadership and steering committees.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10 plus years of significant experience in Finance transformation, governance, PMO, or business solution architecture
- Deep understanding of Finance processes, controls, and ERP platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across business and technology organizations.
- Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement and process standardization.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrix-managed environment supporting strategic change programs.
Reporting Line
Reports to the AVP Project Manager, Integrated Ledger Strategy, with Matrix reporting to MD Integrated Ledger Strategy and works closely with Finance, Technology, Data Governance, and Program Delivery leadership teams
