Floater VA Caregiver - Limited Full-Time

Floater VA Caregiver | Limited Full-Time (30-35 hours a week) | Madison, TN

All Heart Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Floater VA Caregivers to join our team serving clients throughout Madison, TN and surrounding communities within a 50-mile radius, including Goodlettsville and North Nashville.

This is a Limited Full-Time position for caregivers who are flexible, reliable, and comfortable traveling between multiple client homes throughout the day. Caregivers can expect to work 6-12 hour shifts , providing one-on-one, non-medical care and support while ensuring continuity of care across assigned cases.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation support

- Provide companionship and emotional support

- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping

- Provide medication reminders in accordance with company policies and state regulations

- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients

- Observe and report changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or appropriate team member

- Complete accurate and timely documentation of care provided

- Travel between multiple client homes as assigned throughout the day

- Adapt to varying client needs and care plans while maintaining a high standard of care

Qualifications

- Previous caregiving experience preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach to care

- Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans

- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance

- Ability and willingness to travel between client locations within a 50-mile service area

- Must be available to work weekdays, including daytime and evening hours

- Must pass all required pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug screening
