About the Role

The Checker (2nd Shift) is responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurate and meet quality standards before shipment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction by verifying product quality, quantity, and proper handling in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure all orders are accurately checked for product type, color, quantity, and quality prior to shipment
• Utilize RF scanning technology to verify and track inventory throughout the checking process
• Maintain an organized and safe work area, free of hazards such as debris, straps, and water
• Coordinate with replenishment and quality teams to resolve product discrepancies or concerns
• Verify pick tickets are complete and properly attached to all orders
• Consolidate orders efficiently while preventing product damage during handling
• Support packing operations by packing and staging completed orders for shipment
• Assist with returns, substitutions, and end-of-shift product put-away as needed

• Print customer shipping labels and accurately label proconas

• Run for missing product and QA issues to fulfill customer orders

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to work in a warehouse and refrigerated environment (approximately 34°F) with or without reasonable accommodation. The position involves standing for extended periods, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly. Employees must be comfortable using RF scanning devices and performing physically active tasks throughout the shift.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring
• Minimum of 6 months of picking or multi-zone warehouse experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to distinguish product differences such as color and quality
• Ability to work efficiently while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
• Basic systems knowledge, including experience with warehouse management systems (Apprise preferred)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
