Office Assistant (Part-Time) – Temple Square Hospitality | $21–$24/hr

Located inside the historic Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square, Temple Square Hospitality delivers unforgettable dining and event experiences in one of the most beautiful venues in Utah.

We're looking for an Office Assistant who is organized, dependable, and ready to provide administrative and operational support across our hospitality teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, helping others, and contributing wherever needed in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Part-time | 15-20 hours/week | 3-4 shifts

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Provide day-to-day administrative and office support to help ensure smooth and efficient operations across Temple Square Hospitality
• Print, organize, and distribute BEOs and other event-related materials for upcoming events
• Prepare and print menu cards, signage, and other materials needed for banquets, weddings, and special events
• Maintain office and conference room supplies, including restocking printer paper, water, and other commonly used materials
• Conduct a monthly inventory of bridal suite supplies and communicate replenishment needs to appropriate team members
• Complete occasional facility and event-space walkthroughs to help identify supply, presentation, or operational needs
• Communicate effectively with internal departments to support events, meetings, and day-to-day business needs
• Assist the Recruiting and Human Resources team during high-volume hiring seasons, including administrative recruiting support, candidate coordination, interview preparation, and other hiring-related tasks as needed
• Preform additional duties as assigned
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Previous administrative, office, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to completing tasks accurately and on time
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other common workplace technology
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with multiple departments and team members
• Professional demeanor when interacting with employees, candidates, guests, and other stakeholders
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when assisting with Human Resources, recruiting, or other sensitive business information
JOB ENVIRONMENT/OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• May be required to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays, to accommodate business needs
• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Ability to repetitively bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, as well as abide by all company policies
• Takes on additional duties as required or assigned by management
COMPENSATION:
$21.00 - $24.00/hr. This range is inclusive of multiple job levels. Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
