Reporting to VP of Retail, this field-based role provides the link between the Head Office Retail Operations team and stores across the Nordic region. The main purpose of the role is to drive sales and KPI performance across all Nordic stores, while ensuring operational consistency, compliance with company policies and relevant local requirements, and strong support for Store Managers and their teams.

The role requires an experienced multi-site retail leader with proven experience managing operations across multiple countries and adapting their approach to different markets.

What you can expect:

•    Oversee the general operation, sales performance and staffing of all stores across the Nordic region.
•    Lead and support Store Managers across multiple countries through effective remote management and regular in-market presence.
•    Drive consistent standards across the Nordic store portfolio while recognising local market requirements and commercial opportunities.
•    Ensure effective communication and collaboration across countries, stores and Head Office teams.
•    Promote the sharing of best practice across the Nordic region.
•    Conduct frequent store visits, floor walks and store assessments using company tools.
•    Ensure store presentation and housekeeping are maintained to HUGO BOSS standards.
•    Manage escalated customer complaints and queries when required.
•    Implement, monitor and improve store KPIs across the region.
•    Monitor stock loss in conjunction with the relevant stock control teams.
•    Develop recovery plans for underperforming stores through detailed analysis of sales and business reports, addressing areas of concern and capitalising on opportunities.
•    Control costs through the analysis of P&L reports, including payroll expenditure.
•    Chair regular regional Store Manager meetings and contribute to wider Area Manager meetings.
•    Work closely with HR to implement effective recruitment and selection processes across new and existing stores.
•    Partner with the Head Office Retail Operations team on new projects, implementations and follow-up activity.
•    Mentor Store Managers and coach and develop store teams as required.
•    Directly manage Store Managers, including objective setting, performance management and succession planning.
•    Manage sickness, absence and employee turnover in partnership with HR and in accordance with relevant local requirements.
•    Support investigation and disciplinary processes in line with company policy and applicable employment legislation in each Nordic market.
•    Ensure all stores comply with company policies and local requirements relating to health and safety, security and operational procedures.
•    Identify high-potential employees and support their development and progression within the business.
•    Liaise between stores and Head Office departments, including Buying and Merchandising, Finance, HR and Shop Construction.
•    Travel regularly across the Nordic region to maintain a strong presence within stores and support local teams.

Your profile:

•    Proven experience managing multiple retail locations across more than one country.
•    Strong understanding of the operational and commercial complexities of managing a diverse, multi-country region.
•    Demonstrable experience improving sales, KPIs and profitability across a multi-site retail portfolio.
•    Strong leadership skills, with experience managing, coaching and developing senior retail managers remotely and in person.
•    Commercially focused, with strong analytical skills and experience interpreting sales reports, KPIs and P&L information.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build credibility at all levels of the organisation.
•    Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities.
•    Adaptable, culturally aware and comfortable adjusting leadership and communication approaches across different markets.
•    Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the Nordic region.
•    Strong understanding of and ability to represent the HUGO BOSS brand values.
•    Fluency in English is essential.
•    Proficiency in one or more Nordic languages is desirable but not essential.
