SCHEDULE:

- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (closed for lunch 12:30–1:00 PM).

- NO NIGHTS / NO WEEKENDS.

- Closed most federal holidays.

- On-site parking available.

BASE COMPENSATION : $145,000 - $165,000 per year.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

- Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree as well as an active pharmacy license for the state of Illinois

- Min. 3 years pharmacy manager experience.

- Previous retail pharmacy experience to be considered.

- Fluent in the English language

Pharmacist in Charge

- As Pharmacist-in-Charge and Pharmacy Manager, you will serve as the clinical and operational leader of this site, partnering directly with health center providers, managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, and serving as a trusted member of the patient care team.

- Youll have the autonomy to shape the patient experience and grow the pharmacys impact within the community.

- This role reports to Corporate Pharmacy leadership and works in close partnership with our health center client and its clinical staff.

Primary Role:

- Preparing and dispensing appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients, leading a team of pharmacy technicians and managing the overall day-to day pharmacy responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions:

- Review and execute providers prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality

- Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster

- Maintain full control over medication inventory, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration

- Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.

- Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient

- Maintain patient profiles and history of all activities regarding medications dispensed

- Keep abreast and stay current with HIPAA and Frauds Waste and Abuse credentialing

- Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures

- Responsible for ensuring that the Pharmacy and its employees are compliant with Federal, State and Local laws regulated

- Ensures that the Pharmacy and its employees are aware and compliant with local facilities policies

- Responsible for directing the daily work of Pharmacy Technicians, this includes providing input into performance evaluations and advising Senior Management of any behavioral and/or performance issues.

- Responsible for managing the Pharmacy Technicians schedules. This includes advising Senior Management of any request for leave of absences or medical accommodations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE::

- Min 5 years or more of retail pharmacy manager experience

- Current License to practice (PharmD) in Illinois

- Excellent oral, written skills

- Fluent in the English Language

- Previous leadership role helpful

- Must be able to utilize Patient Management System in the Pharmacy
