Job Title: Estimating Coordinator Job Description
As an Estimating Coordinator, you will maintain and enhance estimating procedures, standards, workflows, templates, and reference materials. You will also coordinate process reviews, document decisions, and support the implementation of approved changes, while managing document version control, approvals, and revision history.
Responsibilities
- Identify process improvement opportunities and track action items, issues, and decisions.
- Support estimating software, databases, assemblies, templates, and reporting tools.
- Coordinate testing, implementation, and user acceptance for system updates and enhancements.
- Maintain user guides, system documentation, configuration records, and change logs.
- Provide first-level support and coordinate issue resolution with appropriate teams.
- Perform data validation and quality reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain estimating and historical cost data records.
- Develop and distribute reports, dashboards, and presentations using approved data sources.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, confidentiality, and document control requirements.
- Develop training materials, job aids, and user documentation.
- Coordinate and facilitate training on estimating processes and tools.
- Support onboarding and ongoing adoption of approved estimating standards.
- Gather user feedback and recommend improvements to processes and training.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of experience in process coordination, data management, reporting, software administration, estimating support, training, or a related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookup functions, PivotTables, and data validation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and database-driven business systems.
- Strong documentation, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments.
- Understanding of data governance, software testing, version control, and process improvement principles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Construction estimating, preconstruction, purchasing, scheduling, or project management experience.
- Experience with estimating software and cost databases.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Microsoft, Power BI, Lean/Six Sigma, Project Management, ASPE, or Bluebeam certifications.
Work Environment
The role requires working five days a week in the office located in NW Portland. The position offers an opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus and a 401k with a 40% employer match up to the federal limit. Enjoy strong benefits with mostly covered premiums.

This is a Permanent position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $105000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus.
401k with a 40% employer match (up to federal limit.)
