Schedule
Full-Time: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Monday through Friday
- Every other weekend required
- Consistent daytime schedule
- Full-time hours
- Additional flexibility may occasionally be needed to support community operations

Position Summary
The Environmental Services Supervisor is a working leader responsible for directing and participating in daily housekeeping, floor care, and laundry operations.
The Supervisor ensures resident areas, common spaces, and support areas are maintained in a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming condition .
This position leads, trains, and supports team members, assigns daily work, conducts inspections, monitors quality, and helps ensure departmental standards and infection-control procedures are consistently followed.
Essential Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and participate in daily housekeeping, floor care, and laundry activities
- Assign daily work and coordinate departmental schedules
- Help ensure appropriate staffing, coverage, productivity, and timely completion of assignments
- Train and mentor team members on cleaning techniques, infection control, resident interaction, and safety procedures
- Provide immediate coaching and corrective guidance when performance, safety, or conduct concerns arise
- Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
- May approve PTO and timecards in accordance with department procedures
Quality and Environmental Services
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are maintained
- Monitor resident areas, common spaces, and support areas
- Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning equipment and materials
- Monitor equipment and report maintenance or operational concerns
- Assist with inventory tracking and departmental records
- Maintain required logs and documentation accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with infection-control, hazardous-waste removal, safety, and company policies
- Coordinate and assist with special environmental services and laundry projects
- Set up and break down furniture and equipment for special events and activities
- Assist with trash removal and sanitation as needed
Resident and Community Support
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, guests, and team members
- Model professionalism, patience, and respect when interacting with residents
- Work collaboratively with other departments and community leadership
- Lead by example and remain willing to work alongside the team when operational needs require it
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of housekeeping or environmental services experience
- Prior supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic computer skills, including scheduling, timecards, corrective actions, and inventory tracking
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively with others
- Ability to work 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend
- Valid driver's license may be required if driving a car or golf cart is part of the position
Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on leadership position. The Supervisor must be able to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping, environmental services, floor care, and laundry operations.

- Push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally operate department equipment
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and perform other routine physical activities associated with environmental services
