Job Description

Key Responsibilities

First Production Release (Primary Focus)

- Execute and coordinate the First Production Release (FPR) process for Packing in accordance with global and local quality standards.

- Maintain and update daily sample collection lists and verify physical sample collection.

- Prepare, document, and coordinate shipment of samples to internal and external stakeholders.

- Generate required system transactions and documentation to support sample movement and traceability.

- Complete, file, and maintain all FPR documentation in SharePoint and other applicable systems.

- Identify deviations during FPR activities, initiate corrective actions, and support follow-up to closure.

Quality Support and Data Collection

- Support Quality Engineers with data collection, monitoring of production runs, and measurement of production samples.

- Participate in evaluations of first products and confirm alignment with defined quality standards.

- Support quality reviews related to new product introductions, transfers, and changes.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Packing, Production, Engineering, and QEHS teams to ensure smooth and compliant product releases.

- Communicate FPR status, risks, and issues clearly to relevant stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to FPR execution, documentation accuracy, and process effectiveness.

- Perform additional duties as assigned to support QEHS and operational needs.

Qualifications

Experience

- One to two years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or operations support roles.

- Experience supporting inspections, sample handling, pilot runs, or new product introductions is preferred but not required.

- Entry-level candidates with strong attention to detail and interest in a Quality or QEHS career path will be considered.

Education

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Technical certification or associate degree preferred.

Technical and Professional Skills

- Basic knowledge of quality processes and documentation control.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Must meet vision and color differentiation requirements.

Soft Skills

- Strong attention to detail and structured working style.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn.

- Ability to work independently within defined procedures.

Decision-Making Authority

- Authority to escalate and stop FPR-related activities when release criteria or quality standards are not met.

- Authority to initiate corrective actions related to FPR findings.

- Access to confidential product, sample, and process information with a confidentiality agreement required.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $23.35 - $23.35 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
