A day in the life.
As a Senior Analyst on the Corporate Development team, you’ll provide coordination and execution of all phases of acquisition analysis and due diligence on behalf of MMA to ensure consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The Senior Analyst will support the firm’s Corporate Development function through research, due diligence, financial analysis and development of presentations for initiatives across MMA. The successful candidate for this position will be poised for long-term career growth and advancement opportunities across the firm.
In this role, you will support the executives in strategic and financial analysis for acquisitions and other key business initiatives. In conjunction with senior management, you will research and assess transaction opportunities and build valuation and financial models. You will assist in communicating the business case for proposed acquisitions, particularly the strategic alignment, market context, and business analysis. This Senior Analyst will assist with the due diligence review of target acquisitions, in addition to identifying risk issue that impact transaction value and engage the right resources to address. You will meet with stakeholders and provide status updates through providing clear communication issues, potential risks, and mitigation plans, while setting and continually managing expectations. The Senior Analyst will serve as a liaison with target acquisitions and internal subject matter experts to clarify due diligence requirements and ensure thorough follow through. This role will consolidate due diligence reports from subject matter experts; distill and summarize relevant information for Corporate Development and Senior Executive team. Finally, in this role, the Senior Analyst will be the champion of implementing AI in Marsh Agency’s M&A evaluation processes.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or other equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 2-3 years professional business-related experience.
- Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
- Demonstrated proficiency in business case analysis and financial modeling.
- Experience monitoring the external marketplace and providing recommendations based on analysis. Superior analytical skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, team based, and time sensitive environment
- Able to strictly adhere to all confidentiality and regulatory procedures and protocols.
- Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to get results through others across an organization.
- Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated strong judgment.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills; able to clearly communicate and create revised plans that promptly meet changing needs and requirements.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the Internet.
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
- Knowledge of the insurance industry not required.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $63,200 to $117,900.
###
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
