Hunter Chevrolet is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Warranty Clerk to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who already understands warranty administration and can confidently manage claims, documentation, and manufacturer requirements.

The Warranty Clerk will be responsible for managing warranty claims from preparation and submission through reconciliation and payment while maintaining accurate records and supporting the service department.

What You'll Do

Warranty Claims & Administration

- Prepare, review, and submit warranty claims accurately and within required deadlines.

- Verify repair orders and supporting documentation before submitting claims.

- Ensure claims meet manufacturer requirements and warranty guidelines.

- Monitor submitted claims and follow up on rejected, pending, or unpaid claims.

- Reconcile warranty payments and identify discrepancies.

- Maintain complete and accurate warranty records.

- Scan, organize, and maintain supporting warranty documentation.

- Stay up to date on manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.

Department Support

- Communicate with Service Advisors, Technicians, and management regarding warranty claims and missing information.

- Assist with resolving claim issues and documentation discrepancies.

- Maintain accurate records of warranty transactions and payments.

- Assist with related administrative and accounting duties as needed.

- Protect confidential customer and company information.

What We're Looking For

- Previous automotive warranty administration experience is required.

- Strong understanding of automotive warranty claims and manufacturer requirements.

- Experience reviewing repair orders and supporting documentation.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Comfortable working with computers, dealership systems, and Microsoft Office.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Able to work independently while also supporting a team.
