Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support an advanced aerospace and defense program in Grand Prairie, TX. This position combines systems requirements and architecture with responsibility for the programs Risk and Opportunity management process . In this role, you will own and maintain the program risk management database while working closely with the Program Manager, Chief Engineer, and program leads to ensure risks and opportunities remain accurate, current, and effectively communicated. You will also support systems requirements, architecture, system design, and engineering tradeoffs , utilizing IBM DOORS and Cameo as key engineering tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and maintain the program Risk and Opportunity management database
- Collaborate with the Program Manager, Chief Engineer, and program leads
- Track and maintain program risks, opportunities, and associated information
- Support systems requirements development, management, and traceability
- Support systems architecture and system design activities
- Utilize IBM DOORS for requirements management and traceability
- Utilize Cameo for systems architecture and model-based systems engineering activities
- Support evaluation of system design concepts and engineering tradeoffs

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering, or another STEM discipline
- Experience managing Risk and Opportunity
- 3+ years of experience with IBM DOORS
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cameo
- Experience with systems requirements and/or systems architecture
- Familiarity with system design concepts and engineering tradeoffs
- Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment as required
- Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance ; an active clearance is not required to start
- Must be able to complete required background and drug screening
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Grand Prairie, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $78.80 - $78.80/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
