ROLE SUMMARY:

The International School of Querétaro (ISQ) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volleyball Coach to join our sports team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering volleyball training sessions across different student categories, adapting coaching techniques to each group's developmental stage and athletic level. The role focuses on developing students' technical and tactical skills, promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, and encouraging athletic growth through training and competition.

The Volleyball Coach will play an important role in creating a positive, motivating, and inclusive environment where students can develop their athletic abilities, confidence, and passion for the sport.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plan, organize, and deliver structured volleyball training sessions for assigned student categories, adapting activities to different ages, abilities, and athletic development levels.

- Teach and develop fundamental and advanced volleyball techniques, tactical understanding, and game strategies according to each group's needs.

- Support students' athletic development through effective training methodologies, continuous practice, and participation in competitive activities.

- Foster teamwork, discipline, leadership, respect, and sportsmanship among student athletes.

- Prepare students for volleyball competitions, encouraging individual and team improvement through competitive experiences.

- Monitor student progress and identify opportunities to strengthen technical, tactical, and physical performance.

- Maintain clear and effective communication with students and parents regarding athletic development, expectations, and progress.

- Create a positive, supportive, and motivating environment that promotes confidence, participation, and personal growth.

- Demonstrate strong leadership, empathy, and effective group management throughout training sessions and competitions.

- Maintain a professional, responsible, punctual, and proactive approach to all coaching responsibilities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- FMV (Mexican Volleyball Federation) Level 1 or Level 2 coaching certification.

- A minimum of two years of experience coaching volleyball in private educational institutions.

- Strong technical and tactical knowledge of volleyball, with the ability to adapt coaching methods to different developmental stages and athletic levels.

- Proven ability to plan and deliver effective, structured, and engaging training sessions.

- Experience developing students' volleyball skills and athletic performance through training and competition.

- Strong leadership and group management skills, with an empathetic and supportive approach to coaching female students.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and parents.

- A genuine passion for sports education, teamwork, and student development.

- A high level of responsibility, punctuality, professionalism, and proactivity.

- A commitment to fostering a positive and respectful sporting environment aligned with ISQ's values.
