Senior AI Transformation Consultant, Professional Services

Focus: AI Transformation Services for CoCounsel and Thomson Reuters solutions

Giving a legal, tax, or trade team access to AI is the easy part. The real work is changing how the work gets done — and proving it made a difference.

As a Senior AI Transformation Consultant, you will lead that work hands on: finding the workflows worth changing, designing how they should run with AI, getting people to genuinely use them, and measuring what it delivers - with CoCounsel Legal and CoCounsel for Tax and Trade at the center. You’ll work embedded with client teams, alongside Sales, our AI engineers, enablement specialists, and product teams, from the first client conversation through rollout and measured value.

Key Responsibilities:

In this opportunity as Senior AI Transformation Consultant, Professional Services, you will:

·    Independently lead defined transformation engagements or bounded workstreams across the lifecycle, managing plans, workstreams, and client communication.

·    Conduct targeted discovery through interviews, workshops, surveys, usage information, and operational measures; synthesize clear diagnoses, priority workflows, and next-step decisions.

·    Map current and future-state workflows and develop practical, scoped plans for targeted changes, activation, adoption, risks, dependencies, and success measures.

·    Capture baselines, analyze quantitative and qualitative evidence, and prepare reporting that is precise about what the data does and does not support.

·    Identify adoption barriers—including workflow fit, confidence, risk concerns, or unclear ownership—and put practical recovery actions in place.

·    Support fit-for-purpose responsible-use controls, including review steps, quality checks, and clear accountability for priority use cases.

·    Work alongside forward deployed AI engineers as they build against the customer’s real systems and data, translating what is technically possible into workflow designs people will actually use.

·    Own the quality and credibility of your work, bring the hard calls to a Principal Consultant early, and turn what you learn in the field into methods the team can reuse.

Required Qualifications:

You’re a fit for the Senior AI Transformation Consultant, Professional Services role if you have:

·    Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Organizational Transformation, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

·    5+ years in professional services, consulting, transformation, change management, or complex AI or enterprise-technology delivery, subject to HR leveling.

·    Experience independently leading defined customer engagements or workstreams within agreed scope, timelines, and commercial expectations.

·    Experience assessing professional workflows and contributing to targeted workflow and operating changes that support technology-enabled outcomes.

·    Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder-management skills across business, legal, operational, technology, and end-user groups.

·    Analytical ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative evidence, establish success measures, and recommend clear next actions.

·    Understanding of change, adoption, AI capabilities and limitations, and responsible-use considerations in professional workflows.

·    Clear communication and structured-writing skills, sound judgment in ambiguity, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

·    Experience with AI-enabled legal, tax, trade, risk, compliance, or other regulated professional workflows.

·    Experience using customer evidence to develop recommendations or contributing to reusable consulting assets.

·    Relevant change, process-improvement, project-management, or responsible-AI certification.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.

For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $74,200 USD - $137,800 USD.

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
