Truss Production Worker
Location : Redmond, OR (In-Person)
PrideStaff is seeking a dependable, hardworking Truss Production Worker for one of Central Oregon's fastest-growing manufacturing companies.
Assist in building high-quality roof trusses for residential and commercial construction.
Select, stack, and align lumber and apply metal truss plates using hand tools and power equipment.
Band, label, and prepare finished wood products for assembly and job site delivery.
Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Pick, stack, and sort truss materials according to paperwork instructions to ensure proper component placement.
Position and affix metal truss plates by hammering or pressing them into place.
Neatly stack, band, and label finished trusses and wood components with appropriate job codes.
Assist with special truss projects including attaching super anchors, pre-cut rafters, and sheathing gable ends.
Maintain clean work areas, sweeping debris at the end of each shift and reporting any unsafe conditions.
Learn and adhere to material grades, plate placement tolerances, and gap allowances.
Safely operate tools such as hammers, nail guns, staple guns, power saws, and tape measures.
Qualifications & Requirements
6+ months of production or fast-paced manufacturing experience preferred.
Completion of high school or college carpentry/wood shop classes is a plus.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Proficiency with basic math, reading tape measures (30'), and operating power tools.
Ability to lift 75–100 lbs throughout the shift and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, reaching) for 8–10 hours per day.
Comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions with mandatory overtime as required (including weekends).
Must possess personal cold/wet weather gear, a standard hammer, and a 30' tape measure.
