Standard Job Description
Manages more than one functional area in Quality, Reliability, Test, or Inspection. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for resource allocation, work assignments and establishing/maintaining an effective business rhythm. Responsible for all aspects of quality for assigned area of responsibility. Communicates quality requirements, concerns and expectations. Active participant in risk and opportunity management processes. Ensures cost commitments and financial responsibilities are met. Ensures appropriate identification and flow down of quality requirements (internal and contractual) and effective implementation of quality requirements. Ensures effective implementation of quality management system within area of responsibility. Ensures effective implementation of a metrics program and actively address adverse trends. Ensures product acceptance and delivery per established process and program requirements. Note: This job code will be used for quality personnel that have lead responsibility for a program with one or more quality disciplines.
Basic Qualifications
* Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
* Familiarity with AS9100, ISO-9001, and MIL-STD-1913/1917 quality system requirements.
* Ability to develop, schedule, and deliver training for hourly associates.
* Ability to manage cost and schedule in a Manufacturing enviroment
* Leadership experience
Desired Skills
* Military PMEL/TMDE training
* Experience calibrating/adjusting electronic or physical/dimensional test and measurement equipment
* Experience working with electro-mechanical equipment
* Demonstrate knowledge of regulations such as NIST,ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110 or
ANSI Z540.1, etc.
* IndySoft Experience
* Knowledgable about NAS410 Nondestructive Inspection in Ultrasonics (UT) and Eddy Current (ET)
* Experience working on aircraft utilizing NDI equipment, standards, probes, etc. in performance of NDI inspections.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
