You will be a Engineering & Technology (E&T) Sr Manager in the Orlando Software Engineering Department. This role is responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, and hardware/software integration and verification. The individual will manage the development of embedded software in C++ and Linux operating system in an Agile environment using JIRA, Git and Confluence. The individual will need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development lifecycle.
What You Will Be Doing
As an Engineering & Technology (E&T) Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Managing the development of C++ code
• Software requirement definition, design, code, test, integration, and verification activities for simulation software.
• Management and development of the team
• Providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions.
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
• Coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development.
• Supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related sciences

• Must be a US citizen - this position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $182500.00 - $338900.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
