This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
Technical Project Manager II, Business Performance - TeraWave

As part of a passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will support the management operating system driving sustainable improvement in the production of components and assemblies for TeraWave - Blue Origin's satellite communications program. This is a hands-on position requiring effective communication, high judgment, and knowledge of manufacturing production systems.
We are seeking a proactive, collaborative individual with excellent analytical ability. This role will collaborate directly with the senior leadership team and decision-makers to identify, recommend, develop, and implement process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Build the business related dashboards and KPI management system.
- Execute the rhythm of the business and TeraWave's management operating system.
- Define and standardize business processes across cross-functional teams.
- Mature the management operating system to proactively anticipate performance risks and generate ideas, insights, and solutions to resolve or mitigate issues - followed by decisive action to implement those solutions.
- Oversee and drive the measurement, analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement of TeraWave manufacturing team performance.
- Manage budgeting and goal-planning processes across the team to drive effective planning in support of TeraWave's Top 100 goals.
- Participate in company-wide process definition and improvement across manufacturing processes, business processes, production planning, lessons learned, and other standards as needed.
- Implement the Blue Production System to build a production framework that supports world-class capabilities and fosters One Blue culture across TeraWave's greenfield manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- BS degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management and/or Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience with progressive responsibility in manufacturing - satellites, spacecraft, electronics, semiconductors, launch vehicles, aircraft, automotive, medical devices, or power generation systems.
- Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, and data analytics.
- Experience implementing visual factory and production operating systems in a high-mix, low-volume or early-stage production environment.
- Lean manufacturing practitioner with expertise in statistical process control; skilled in process definition, development, deployment, measurement, and improvement.
- Highly effective, professional verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
- Experience using production scheduling MRP/ERP systems.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current green card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired
- Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- Experience transitioning manufacturing capabilities from development/prototype phase to full-rate production - particularly in satellite, RF, optical, or electronics manufacturing.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, integration processes, systems engineering best practices, test, quality, and configuration management systems relevant to satellite or communications hardware.
- Experience managing facility-level capital improvements and upgrades in support of a greenfield or rapidly scaling manufacturing program.

Base Pay Range for:
WA applicants is $99,201.00 - $138,880.35

- Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
