The Launch Manager is a member of the Cell Therapy Launch and Lifecycle Management Excellence Team, which enables operational and system readiness for commercial and clinical cell therapy launches to expand patient access and advance the BMS pipeline. This role coordinates cross-functional launch activities and supports manufacturing launch readiness by developing and maintaining integrated launch plans, milestones, deliverables, meeting materials, and status updates. Success in this role requires the ability to bring structure to complex work, adapt to changing priorities, identify and escalate issues, and collaborate effectively across a global matrix organization.
The position reports to the Senior Director, Cell Therapy Launch and Lifecycle Management and will not have direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to support manufacturing readiness timelines for assigned commercial and clinical launches
- Develop, maintain, and track detailed launch plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and action items utilizing SmartLaunch
- Plan and facilitate effective meetings with clear agendas, pre-reads, meeting minutes, decisions, and follow-up actions
- Prepare and communicate timely project status, updates, decisions, issues, and risks to stakeholders and leadership
- Identify, assess, document, and escalate launch risks and issues; support mitigation planning while maintaining alignment with schedule and quality/regulatory requirements
- Initiate and coordinate the global launch change control in the BMS quality system, ensuring actions and supporting documentation are completed on schedule
- Support operational excellence by applying standard launch processes, tools, templates, and best practices across assigned launches
- Support change management and adoption of new launch processes, tools, and systems
- Document lessons learned and contribute to the development and implementation of improvements for future launches
- Provide backup coverage for launch activities and support onboarding and knowledge sharing within the Launch and Lifecycle Management Excellence Team
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, life sciences, business, or a related field is required; advanced degree is a plus
- 2-4 years of project or program management experience, preferably supporting complex cross-functional or matrix teams
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication, meeting facilitation, and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated experience coordinating complex projects, launches, technology transfers, or lifecycle transitions; experience within Cell Therapy is preferred
- Proficiency in project management tools; experience with OnePlan Portfolio Management and SmartLaunch is a plus
- Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle and experience operating within a regulated environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to manage priorities, work independently, and take initiative
- Project management training or certification is preferred

Seattle - WA: $118,100 - $143,108
The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.

U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year.
Non-exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays.
Depending on eligibility, employees may also have access to additional time-off benefits, including paid sick leave, up to two paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, and leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, or military needs.
