Salary range (but not limited to):
101,800 - 124,400
Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
As part of the Contact Billing program which aims to deploy a billing and collection system across all Intact companies and provinces, we are looking for a Guidewire Developer to support the migration of the Guidewire BillingCenter platform to Guidewire’s Cloud SaaS version.This position is part of the T Billing Development team.
What you'll do here:
- Contribute to the migration of Guidewire BillingCenter to the Cloud SaaS version;
- Enhance and develop functionalities that meet users’ needs;
- Design solutions, analyze issues, and recommend appropriate approaches;
- Prepare work effort estimates for assigned tasks;
- Program, test, debug, and document the solutions developed;
- Participate in the development of Java applications and services in an Agile environment;
- Work closely with Quality Assurance teams, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders;
- Participate in the developer community and contribute to the continuous improvement of practices, tools, and processes;
- Promote and apply software development best practices.
What you bring to the table:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a combination of relevant education and experience;
- At least two years of experience developing on one of the Guidewire platforms;
- Strong experience with Java development;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Bilinguism required (French and English) - Need to interact regularly with colleagues across the country;
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada;
Assets
- Guidewire certifications;
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud SaaS;
- Experience migrating or upgrading a Guidewire platform;
- Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter;
- Experience with Spring Boot;
- Experience with Cucumber and RestAssured;
- Experience with Git;
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence;
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines;
- Experience working in an Agile environment;
- Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry;
- Knowledge of billing and collection processes.
