Your New Role

As Senior Manager, Operational Reliability & Resilience, you’ll lead the establishment and ongoing enhancement of operational resilience across Member Operations. You’ll provide oversight of critical operations, support compliance with CPS 230 and work closely with operational leaders, service providers, Risk, Technology, Data and Business Continuity teams to strengthen the organisation’s ability to respond to and recover from disruption.

In this role, you’ll:

- Lead the assessment and management of critical operations, including processes delivered by third parties and associated supply chain risks.
- Develop resilience metrics, dashboards and early warning indicators to support effective decision-making.
- Maintain critical operations processes, dependencies, impact tolerances and recovery
- requirements.
- Design and continuously improve the operational resilience approach across Member Operations.
- Support incident reviews, scenario testing, resilience exercises and operational recovery simulations.
- Build strong relationships with operational leaders, Risk, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Vendor Management and Material Service Providers.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team while promoting a strong culture of risk management, compliance and continuous improvement.
- Support incident reviews and maintain remediation registers to help drive the timely closure of agreed actions.

What You’ll Need:

- Extensive experience in operational resilience, site reliability engineering, business continuity or business and technology resilience.
- Strong knowledge of CPS 230 and prudential expectations relating to critical operations and Material Service Providers.
- Experience managing resilience frameworks, recovery testing and critical operational processes.
- Demonstrated experience working with outsourced operating models and complex supplier environments.
- Strong governance, reporting and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive risk and resilience outcomes.
- Experience leading teams and developing colleagues, ideally within financial services, superannuation or another regulated industry.
