Who we are looking for :

Rogers is seeking a Sr. Network Implementation Manager to provide leadership support to the Vancouver East wireline Implementation team. With a keen focus on team leadership mentoring and financial stewardship, this position will be responsible for delivering and executing team and corporate targets while managing regional budget categories. We are seeking a passionate team member who will administer, organize and manage multiple Network Implementation processes and design deliverables with a focus on communication and customer experience for internal and external stakeholders, while managing vendor, municipal and utility relationships.  We look forward to meeting with you and helping you succeed in this opportunity.

What you will be doing:

- Accountable for Network Implementation team building, process alignment, coaching of employees, conducting performance reviews and training.

- Develop strong, positive cross organization relationships with internal and external collaborators.

- Accountable for the design and construction of Outside Plant Coaxial and Fiber Networks.

- Accountable for achieving overall departmental deliverables and goals, including Operational costs, ongoing project forecasting, and budgeting.

- Ensure Network Implementation project milestones are met - deliverables are on time, on budget with quality results.

- Provide quality control and assurance of permits, plans and drawings.

- Ensure Rogers design guidelines followed and network records maintained.

- Meet Rogers, CSA, Utility and local municipality standards. Oversee and maintain all local municipal relations, and regulatory affairs.

- Adhere to all applicable Health and Safety regulations, in accordance with legislation and related Company policy.

What you will bring:

- Related Design Planning and Engineering experience (5-10 years).

- Related experience with Cable Outside Plant Engineering (5-10 years).

- Knowledge of CSA standards, related municipal by-laws, regulations and utility standards.

- Knowledge of RF and fibre optic architecture and the fibre optic planning processes.

- Commitment to quality performance and teamwork across multiple disciplines.

- Detail oriented with an aptitude for tracking progress across many disciplines and capable of balancing the “big picture” with meeting the day-to-day needs of the organization.

- Demonstrated leadership skills in strategy, planning, coaching and mentoring.

- Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work streams.

- General understanding of the company’s overall business operations and products.

- Post-Secondary Education preferably in a technical or engineering discipline.
