The incumbent will be responsible for managing new lease and lease renewal files for portfolios managed both internally and through outsourced service providers, overseeing real estate activities across various programs (such as Augment, Acquisition and Fiber), while ensuring follow-up on interventions and maintaining effective business relationships with a diverse range of property owners.
The incumbent will also contribute to portfolio monitoring and data management by regularly updating Excel tracking tools and internal systems, thereby supporting the timely execution of real estate initiatives and ensuring rigorous portfolio oversight.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Negotiate rent, lease terms and conditions, or master agreements with property owners in accordance with Rogers' business criteria.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with representatives of various regulatory authorities and business partners.
- Prepare all required documentation in compliance with corporate standards.
- Obtain property titles and legal opinions from the appropriate professionals to protect the company's interests.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate and follow up with team members, municipalities, landlords, and all other involved stakeholders. Maintain ongoing communication with the team regarding constraints, changes, and other relevant information.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Update detailed monthly tracking reports outlining the status of ongoing projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Business Administration (with a concentration in Real Estate, Urban Management, Urban Planning, or a related field). Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
- Three (3) years or more of experience in real estate management, lease administration, or real estate portfolio coordination.
- Experience negotiating real estate agreements and managing relationships with landlords and external partners.
- Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Bilingualism: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
