About this role
Responsibilities:
- Main SPOC for the Chinese counterparts.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Build data ingestion and transformation solutions.
- Support Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse environments.
- Monitor and optimize data platform performance.
- Implement data quality and validation checks.
- Support CI/CD and DevOps processes.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and service requests.
- Implement security and governance controls.
- Support DataOps and automation initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Fluent in Mandarin, both spoken and written.
- Some experience in Azure Data Engineering.
- Fresh graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in any IT related course are welcome to apply, provided they are fluent in spoken and written Mandarin and willing to undergo training as a Junior Azure Data Engineer.
- Candidates without an IT related degree may also be considered, provided they are fluent in spoken and written Mandarin and willing to undergo training as a Junior Azure Data Engineer.
- Can start asap.
Preferred Knowledge in:
- Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks
- SQL, Python, and PySpark
- Azure DevOps, Data Lake, ETL/ELT development, and Git
