About this role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Head of Finance to join a dynamic and fast-growing financial services organization and fintech. Our client is a diversified holding company with a portfolio of subsidiaries operating across advisory services, asset management, financial technology, payment solutions, corporate structuring, and digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and management and statutory reporting
- Support the implementation of financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain working relationships with relevant authorities and licensing bodies
- Maintain internal controls and support risk management processes
- Coordinate with banking partners, auditors, and external stakeholders
- Drive financial performance through data-driven analysis and operational efficiency
- Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team
- Prepare financial insights and recommendations for the CFO / senior leadership team
- Support fundraising, investor reporting, and capital allocation initiatives where applicable
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2–3 years in a team leadership or management role
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) preferred
- Background in regulated financial services environments
- Experience with multi-entity or multi-jurisdictional financial structures
- Good understanding of compliance, licensing, and regulatory frameworks within financial services
- Experience working with banking relationships and payment ecosystems
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
