Supplier Industrial System Engineer

Job Description:

A. Accountabilities

- Industrialize A220 Detail Part & Assembly Work Package at supplier per Airbus requirements (e.g., A2020).
- Provide technical and project support to supplier during industrialization.
- Monitor the status and mitigate risks in the industrialization phase to secure FAI and ramp-up.

B. Main activities

- Extend Manufacturing Engineering expertise for supplier risk evaluation
- Ensure robust industrial system set-up at supplier
- Provide technical support as industrial leader between Airbus MFT and supplier
- Assess and ensure APQP ME Key Business Deliverables (e.g. Process Flow Diagram, PFMEA, etc. per M1140)
- Support Tooling Management and Perform specific tooling acceptance (per M1194) - Coordinate with A220 Program/OMSx/Integrator (Tier-1) on industrial deliverables (e.g. Condition of Supply, Packaging & Delivery solutions, etc.)
- Monitor and surveillance the status of industrialization and launch periodic Industrial Review Meeting
- Report progress on a regular basis with defined key performance indicators
- The Job holder will be expected to travel as required

C. Qualifications & ability

- Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or above in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical field).
- Experience: Direct manufacturing engineering experience within the aerospace/defense industry 5 years plus. Supply chain management experience is a plus.
- Basic Skills: Mechanical manufacturing knowledge,
- Certifications: N/A

- Ability

- Soft Skills: Good English level, team working, good communication, APQP, project management
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge on CATIA v5 & model-based definition, Good mechanical knowledge, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), good analytical and problem-solving skills
