Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

- Lead the architecture and high-level design of scalable and modular firmware for UWB Radio/PHY platforms .
- Develop and optimize firmware for UWB PHY/MAC in compliance with IEEE 802.15.4 standards .
- Design and implement analog front-end and RF chain control/sequencing .
- Port, integrate, and optimize firmware on RTOS-based systems .
- Drive firmware bring-up, debugging, and validation using RTL models, simulations, and silicon platforms.
- Develop and maintain unit test frameworks , HAL example applications, and software validation environments.
- Integrate firmware development with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and quality assurance.
- Build and execute automated regression, integration, and qualification test suites to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions and resolve complex technical challenges.

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

- 8+ years of experience in Embedded Software/Firmware Development .
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field .
- Strong expertise in embedded system architecture, design, C programming, MATLAB, and object-oriented concepts .
- Hands-on experience developing low-level device drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, DMA, Timers, GPIO) on ARM Cortex-M or similar platforms .
- Solid experience with RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, or equivalent, including task scheduling, synchronization mechanisms, and system integration.
- Good understanding of UWB MAC/UCI or wireless technologies including BLE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LoRa .
- Experience translating hardware specifications, register maps, timing diagrams, and state machines into robust firmware implementations.
- Proficiency with embedded debugging tools such as JTAG/SWD, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers .
- Knowledge of low-power embedded design , including clock management, power sequencing, and sleep/wake mechanisms.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
