This open position is for Armanino India LLP. Armanino India LLP is a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino (USA).
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting for client(s).
- Lead calls with clients on deliverables, KPIs and other updates as needed
- Accountable for India team meeting all the client KPIs
- Mentor, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement innovative accounting policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, financial planning, and business growth opportunities.
- Liaison with US team on client engagements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive process improvements and innovation.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, providing proactive financial insights and solutions to meet their evolving needs.
- Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a proven track record of leadership and managerial excellence.
- Deep knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, with experience in a client-service or public accounting environment preferred.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks), with a focus on leveraging technology to drive efficiency and innovation.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business growth, client satisfaction, and operational excellence.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a passion for learning, adaptability, and innovation.
