About this role

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to spearhead our commercial growth in the CEE region, with a primary strategic focus on expanding our merchant footprint in Greece. In this role, the ideal candidate will own the end-to-end lifecycle of key accounts within Fashion, Beauty, and FMCG—from identifying and onboarding top-tier Greek fashion brands, multi-brand retailers, and commercial sellers to negotiating commercial terms and driving their long-term performance on the platform. Acting as a vital bridge between regional sellers and our marketplace ecosystem, the Category Manager will shape regional assortment, optimize seller engagement, and deliver sustainable GMV growth.

Responsibilities

- Identify, pitch, and onboard high-potential sellers, brand owners, and multi-brand retailers across Fashion, Beauty, and FMCG in the CEE region, with an immediate priority on the Greek market.

- Lead negotiations on commercial terms, commission structures, payment terms, and promotional commitments to secure high-value vendor deals.

- Manage the full onboarding workflow, collaborating with listing, logistics, and account operations teams to ensure smooth operational integration.

- Drive ongoing seller performance, conducting regular account reviews, joint business planning, and campaign participation strategies to boost account sales.

- Monitor category metrics, inventory depth, and competitive pricing across CEE and Greece to identify catalog gaps and commercial opportunities.

- Work cross-functionally with local and central marketing, category management, and customer experience teams to align strategic goals and elevate seller KPIs.

Expected Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Proven track record in business development, key account management, or commercial category management within e-commerce or marketplace platforms.

- Deep understanding of retail dynamics, commercial trends, and seller landscapes across Fashion, Beauty, or FMCG in Greece and the broader CEE region.

- Experienced negotiator capable of closing commercial agreements with multi-brand retailers, brand distributors, and high-volume sellers.

- Analytical approach with an ability to read seller performance data, evaluate product margins, and translate insights into account growth strategies.

- Strong command of English and Greek, both written and spoken; proficiency in Romanian is a plus.

- Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently across Greece and the CEE region.
