About this role
We are seeking a results-oriented Category Manager to drive our Non-Fashion marketplace growth across the CEE region, with a primary strategic focus on the Greek market. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and managing high-volume sellers across key Non-Fashion verticals—including Home & Furniture, Electronics, Toys, and General Merchandise. The Category Manager will own the vendor lifecycle end-to-end—negotiating commercial terms, streamlining onboarding workflows, and building joint growth plans with top Greek distributors, commercial sellers, and regional retail partners to elevate category performance and assortment depth.
Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit top-tier commercial sellers, distributors, and brand retailers across Home & Furniture, Electronics, Toys, and General Merchandise in CEE, focusing heavily on Greece.
- Lead commercial negotiations regarding commissions, payment terms, co-marketing budgets, and exclusive seller campaign participation.
- Oversee end-to-end vendor onboarding, ensuring technical catalog integration, logistics setup, and operational readiness.
- Manage day-to-day key account relationships through performance reviews, inventory optimization, and participation in major promotional events.
- Analyze category benchmarks, pricing trends, and product availability in Greece and CEE to identify high-demand catalog expansion opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Marketing, Tech Integration, Customer Support) to resolve seller operational blockers and maximize account retention.
Expected Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Management, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or category management within e-commerce or multi-category marketplace platforms.
- Direct experience handling non-fashion categories, specifically Home & Furniture, Consumer Electronics, Toys, or General Merchandise.
- Advanced negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close complex commercial deals with distributors, retail groups, and major sellers.
- Sharp data interpretation skills with an ability to analyze sales reports, margin profiles, and pricing benchmarks to guide commercial decisions.
- Strong command of English and Greek, both written and spoken; proficiency in Romanian is a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Greece and the CEE region without restrictions.
