THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking flexible, dedicated and highly professional Supply / Cover Teachers to join our on-call talent pool for the 2026/27 academic year. Suitable candidates may be contacted when short-term, ad hoc, long-term, maternity or other temporary cover needs arise between August 2026 and June 2027.

Applications will be reviewed throughout the academic year as cover needs arise. Joining the talent pool does not guarantee immediate or regular work, and assignments may be offered at short notice.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the school curriculum and any plans provided.

- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.

- Support student progress by following the learning objectives, lesson plans and guidance provided, adapting appropriately where required.

- Maintain high expectations for student learning, behaviour and wellbeing.

- Uphold the school values, expectations and established routines, ensuring a smooth and consistent experience for students during teacher absences.

- Adapt confidently to different classes, age groups, subjects and assignment lengths.

- Work collaboratively with teachers, support colleagues and school leaders.

- Provide useful handover information to the relevant teacher or leader.

- Follow all school policies and uphold safeguarding and student welfare responsibilities.

ABOUT YOU

- A recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching across relevant age groups or subject areas.

- The unrestricted right to live and work in Ireland without visa sponsorship.

- Current residence in Ireland and the ability to travel to the school when assignments arise, including at short notice.

- Relevant teaching experience, ideally in an international, IB, British or comparable curriculum environment.

- Strong classroom management, organisation and communication skills.

- A flexible, dependable and calm approach, including the ability to respond to cover needs at short notice where required.

- A commitment to inclusive practice and to providing an exceptional experience for every student.

- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute positively to the school community.
