About the Team
You will join the Card Acquiring Team within the Cards and Payments Tribe, working with colleagues across Riga, Tallinn, and Vilnius to deliver reliable card acceptance services for SEB’s business customers. Our solutions support card and digital-wallet transactions through a mix of internally developed and third-party systems.
About the Role
As an IT Analyst, you will combine system ownership, business analysis, and stakeholder coordination. The role offers broad exposure to payment technology, regulatory requirements, vendors, and cross-Baltic delivery.
As a Data Steward you will:
- Ensure that data within the Digital Channels Data Area is managed in accordance with SEB Data Governance policies and standards
- Work with business stakeholders, data owners, architects, and development teams to agree on data definitions, quality requirements, and responsibilities
- Establish and maintain business glossary definitions and metadata, linking business concepts to relevant data assets
- Coordinate the definition, implementation, and monitoring of data quality rules and controls
- Investigate and document data quality issues, support root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation with accountable owners and development teams
- Support data consumers and development initiatives by explaining data meaning, structure, quality, and appropriate use
You are the right fit if you have:
- Practical experience using SQL to analyse, investigate and validate data
- A sound understanding of data modelling principles, including entities, attributes and relationships, and the ability to interpret data models
- Understanding of reporting solutions, database design, data control implementation and data quality management
- Ability to explain data concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Experience in regulated and large-scale data environments is considered a plus
- Proficiency in written and spoken English language, to be able to collaborate with colleagues across the Baltics
- Experience in data management and tools like Collibra would be an advantage
